Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data GoFusion collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It applies to go-fusion.co.uk only.

Who we are

GoFusion is the data controller for the personal data described here. Our registered details are GoFusion Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16477709, at Castlegate, Tickhill, Doncaster, DN11 9QU, United Kingdom. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under ZB995746. You can reach us at initiate@go-fusion.co.uk.

What we collect

If you complete the enquiry form or email us, we receive your name, organisation, role, email address, telephone number if you provide one, and whatever you write in your message.

We also count visits, using Vercel Web Analytics. For each page opened it records the page, the site that sent the visitor here, the country and city their connection comes from, and the type of device, operating system and browser. None of it is stored with an IP address or with anything else that identifies you, and we see only totals. How it works, and the one check it makes in your browser, are set out in how we count visits.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange a discovery call. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us and expect a reply.
• To keep a record of business conversations, so we can pick up where we left off. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in running the business.
• To see which pages are read and how people find the site, so we can tell whether it is doing its job. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
• Where we are required to keep records by law, our lawful basis is legal obligation.
• Occasionally, to send you something we judge relevant to the enquiry you made, such as an article. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. We do this rarely and only where it follows from what you asked us about. Every message says how to stop receiving them, and you can tell us to stop at any time by replying or by emailing initiate@go-fusion.co.uk. We will stop, and we do not need a reason.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only with the service providers who run parts of this site for us, and only so far as they need it to do that.

• Web3Forms delivers the contact form. When you press send, your browser sends what you typed straight to them, with your IP address, and they forward it to us by email. To filter spam they may pass your IP address and email address to the spam-filtering services they use. See their privacy policy.
• Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, for security and reliability. The articles are assembled on their servers when you open one, so those logs cover that as well as the pages served as files. Those servers are in the United States. Vercel also counts visits for us through Vercel Web Analytics, as described above, and runs the occasional security check described in the cookie notice. See their privacy notice. Our email signatures load the GoFusion logo from this site, so when you open an email from us your email app may fetch it, and that request is logged like any other. The logo is the same file for everyone, with nothing in it that identifies you or the message, and we do not use it to see whether or when you read an email.
• Microsoft carries our email once an enquiry reaches us. Our mailboxes run on Microsoft 365, bought through GoDaddy, who administer the accounts. See Microsoft's privacy statement and GoDaddy's privacy policy.

Some of these providers handle data outside the United Kingdom. Vercel, Microsoft and GoDaddy are certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which UK law accepts as adequate protection for data sent to the United States. Web3Forms operates from India, and its data processing terms include the standard contractual clauses, with the UK Addendum issued by the Information Commissioner.

Our articles are written in a content service called Sanity, and it is deliberately not on the list above. When you open an article our own server fetches the words and the photograph and sends them to you, so your browser never contacts Sanity and they never see that you visited. The same is true of every other page: this site asks your browser to load nothing from anybody else, and a test fails the build if that stops being true.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become client conversations are deleted after 12 months.

Web3Forms, who deliver the contact form, keep their copy of a submission for up to three years and then delete it automatically.

Records relating to client work are kept for as long as our contract with that client requires, and after that for as long as the law requires us to keep them. Where neither a contract nor a legal duty sets a period, we keep them for six years and then delete them.

Vercel keeps the visit counts for at least twelve months, and may keep them longer. They hold nothing that identifies you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete data we no longer have a reason to keep.
• Restrict or object to how we use it.
• Stop us sending you anything. This one is absolute: if you object to direct marketing we must stop, and there is nothing for us to weigh against it.
• Provide it to you, or another provider, in a portable format.

Email initiate@go-fusion.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No website can promise perfect security, so we also keep only what we need, for as long as we need it.

What is stored on your device

This site sets no cookies of its own, and the tool that counts visits stores nothing on your device. One preference, whether you chose the light or the dark ground, is kept in your browser and never sent to us. Our hosting provider may occasionally add a short-lived security record while checking for automated traffic. Both are set out in full in the cookie and storage notice, with the one check the counting tool makes.

Changes

If this notice changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted here.

6 October 2026. We began counting visits with Vercel Web Analytics, as described above. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device.

20 October 2026. We now name the safeguards that protect your data when one of our providers handles it outside the United Kingdom, and say that Web3Forms receives your IP address with an enquiry and keeps a copy for up to three years.
