A UK client needed to design and build a completely new website. At first glance the requirement was simple: find an experienced Webflow developer.
Understanding the project revealed that Webflow expertise alone was not enough. The client needed someone who could combine technical expertise with creativity, autonomy, communication and project leadership: a specialist capable of working independently, coordinating the build and taking ownership from initial setup through to launch.
Finding the skills behind the brief
Rather than focusing on a job title, the requirement was broken down into the capabilities needed to deliver the project.
That created a much clearer talent brief: find the combination of skills needed to deliver the outcome, wherever that talent might be.
- Webflow expertise
- Advanced development, CMS, responsive design, components and interactions.
- Creative thinking
- Interpreting Figma designs and translating the creative vision into an engaging digital experience.
- Project ownership
- Understanding the complete project, establishing the right approach and coordinating delivery.
- Autonomy
- Working independently, solving problems and making informed decisions without constant direction.
- Communication
- Collaborating remotely, managing feedback and keeping the project moving.
What we did
The required capabilities were matched with an experienced Webflow specialist based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which demonstrates the global nature of the talent model.
Working remotely, the specialist took responsibility for a substantial website build, establishing the Webflow architecture and reusable component system before delivering the wider site.
The scope grew to 39 pages across multiple sections, together with CMS architecture, dynamic templates, responsive development, interactions and animations, testing and launch support. A component led approach meant common functionality could be built once and reused throughout the website, creating greater consistency and efficiency across the project.
The outcome
The client gained more than additional development resource.
They accessed a specialist with the technical, creative and leadership capabilities to own and deliver the project, without geography limiting the talent available to them.
Start with the outcome. Identify the skills. Find the talent. Deliver without borders.
Every transformation starts with a conversation.
Whether your focus is shaping strategy, accelerating growth, adopting automation and AI with confidence, or accessing global talent, a short conversation is usually enough to identify the right path forward. No pitch deck, no obligation.
